About Me
John and Jean met at Parents Without Partners in 1978. We "clicked" right away and have been together ever since. I have a son, Jason (John adopted him when he was seven), and John has a daughter, Rebecca, and together we have two daughters, Jennifer and Janel. We have six grandchildren, two boys and four girls. John has worked for the Robbinsdale School District for several years and is retiring on April 18, 2008. Jean is contemplating retiring, too, but isn't sure yet. We live in New Hope, MN; Jason, his wife, Jennifer (Jen, to differentiate between our daughter Jennifer) and their little girl, Julia, live in Big Lake, MN (about a half hour drive away). Jennifer and Janel and her daugher, Jerika, rent apartments at one of the complexes we manage. Rebecca (Becky) lives in New Port Richey, Florida, with her children. (Sorry we don't have pictures of the Florida branch of our family.)John is an avid fishermen during warm weather and an avid fishing show TV fan when it's cold. Jean sews and does crafts when she has time. People said we'd never stay together because we were both divorced but we've been together 30 years and still going strong. The first night we met, we danced and we still love to dance, even if it's just in our kitchen.
