Ewo is in the first place a visual artist. After leaving the paint and pencils behind, Ewo came to the logical conclusion of using digital technology for art. Using the computer as a means to manipulate images as if it were paintings, creating collages of childhood memories and blossoming springs.The output comes to us through her videos done for various electronica artists such as Deru, Loden, Troubleshooter, Port- Royal and Vector Lovers. But also by live-sets alongside artists as Arovane, Isan, Bauri and Expanding Records.As the founder of Plexiphonic, Ewo has organised five events so far, two of which were label-nights with U-Cover and Expanding Records. Plexiphonic also plays an important role in the visuals work. All the video work can be found on the website.Besides offering video work and organising events, Plexiphonic have started to release music. The first net-release was the of Greetings From Tuskan EP. The second release was the debut cd of Loden (this in collaboration with Eat This Records).The thing that all this has in common, is that it is done out of love for music and imagery. Just for that. Ewo chose different disciplines to be part of all this.
