Saigon Eclipse is a feature film freely inspired by "The Story of Kieu", the classic Vietnamese epic poem written by Nguyen Du in the early 19th century. The film revisits and updates the poem's principal themes of fillial devotion, redemption and woman's submission, the themes's structuring a Chinese feudal society.
