About Me

Welcome to the official site of Antonio Cabrera. Antonio's parents came to the United States from Cuba and he was born in PG county Maryland On September 20, 1978. Baptized Catholic, while growing up in Virginia he started playing guitar when he was seven years old, learning from the music of those days and also learning Spanish guitar from his father. After his Confirmation he fell away from the faith and Christ and started following the secular world and their ways. A friend of his in 1997 took him to a Baptist student union in a collage campus. Antonio was going there for a while and still practicing his secular ways. In the fall of 1998 he started to study scripture and the early church fathers. Then in January of 1999 he started praying for the first time in a long time and ask the Lord to take over his life and for him to live his life for the Lord and returned to the Catholic Church. He was still playing for many different secular bands but he wanted to devote and consecrate his music to Christ. Many band members had problems with the issues of the faith. So on August 15, 2006 Antonio decided to quit the bands he was playing for and become a solo artist and consecrated his music to Christ and put his two loves together, his faith and his music and returned the gift of music God had given him, giving it back to God for his Glory. While he works on his music and performs, his life is devoted to prayer and living the faith. He is now in the studio working on his premier album. Please Keep Antonio and the new band in your prayers that through his music may he share Christ with the world and that he may always proclaim that Jesus Christ is the Truth, The way, And the Life!
