About Me

**************** COME OUT TO THE FIG CAFE ********************** ON SATURDAY NIGHTS ************************** 7:30 to 9 to see my show ********************** 437 Old York Rd in Jenkintown PA ******************** Guaranteed to be a great time ************************************************************ **** My name is Michael and i am the one man band(bandof1). I record the drums, guitar and the vocals all by myself. All songs are written by me. Currently I'm playing open mics located around philly. I started playing music when I was 13 years old, funny part was that was when i started liking music. Anywho I started off with the drums and I was just going to be a drummer, until one day fate brought me to a band I would try out for. This band no names need to be said did not want me because not lack of talent but lack of personality connection if you know what i mean. well after this i decided I would do everything myself. I could play the drums i was learning how to play guitar and i knew i could sing so it was the slow start of bandof1. Since then, I have been playing the guitar and writing my own music. Now i'm learning the part of producing and engineering music which turns out to be pretty hard but im getting there. So the same songs will continue to pop up on the player that are re-recorded to sound better. I'm realizing now that I don't have some important things up here about me. Right now I'm currently going to Penn State Abington majoring in Business ( so i can own things), plus because they don't include it on band sites I'm 20 years old hard to believe right? alright maybe not. If you feel like chattin about music or whatever my IM is musicbandofone. ____________________________________________________________ ____*I'll be posting weekly open mics which i will be attending, hope to see you there ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------- places played: Grape street, Milkboy, The Fire, Drexel, Penn State Abington Steel City Cafe, The Fig Cafe
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: Unconstruction
Band Members: (Vocals) - Me Lead (Guitar) - Me (Rhythm Guitar) - Me (Bass Guitar) - Me (Drums) - Me
Influences: Travis Barker was my biggest influence for playing the drums. I learned to play just by listening and playing along with the Blink 182 songs. Next was Linkin Park I loved their style of music when I first heard them. The way they put their music together with a lot of rhythm and rock is what I try to put in my music. The way I learned how to play guitar was listen and playing along with Papa Roach, personally I like how their guitar player plays.
Sounds Like: Myself but here are some bands that helped me get there Breaking benjamin, Shinedown, Thousand Foot Krutch, Godsmack, linkin Park, Papa Roach, Three days Grace, Three Doors Down, Nickle Back, Fall Out Boy, Unwritten Law, Disturbed, P.O.D, Fuel, Seether, Trust Company, The Exies, Story Of The Year, Audio Slave, Default, Chevelle, Trapt, and Staind.
