We're a 4 person Rock/Blues/Country band based in a Chambers County Texas. We play whatever gets you up and dancin! We want everyone to have as much fun as legally (and somewhat morally) possible. We just hope that you have as much fun when you come out to see us as we do playing for you. David was born in IL and raised in a small town of Chandlerville. His love for the Great State of Texas, Southern Rock and Blues took him here several years ago to Houston, TX with a desire to put together a unique band, which he has. It wasn't easy to decide to leave Illinois and the friends and family there, but it was necessary for his family. Now... with a different name, but with the same passion and style as it always did with the name Oak Island Express, the band moves onward and will remain loyal to the same style of music. The name change seemed necessary when David became the last member of the band to reside in Oak Island. We hope that you will continue to follow our progress, and that you will come out and have fun with us! Name Change is done....

Okay.... There was a good response to our search for a new name for the band. The voting came down to No Boundaries and Highway 61. It was so close that we combined the two and now the band is Highway...
