Bear Trident

...I'm in way too many bands...

About Me

Bridging the gap between which defines musicians from being either an artist or merely someone who just plays music, Bear Trident uses various alternative outlets as means of creatively expressing himself freely without the confinements of limiting himself to just one style.

Influences: My musical influences?:
Clint Topic (for getting me started)
Scott Fitters (for guiding me in the right direction, and reffering Tim to me)
Tim McArtney (for 4 great years of spiritual and philisophical guidance on the bass guitar, and double bass)
Andrew Wallace (for fueling my inspiration for double bass)
Jamieson Shaw (starting out at the same time, that great bond of growing together with our shared passion and vision for bass guitar)
Matt Lamb (for our shared admiration for Jaco and all things jazz, Brown Dog, Agent 00Funk, and all the beers and fun times, and 'Mr. Squiggle')

And a heaps big cheer goes out to Kim Pink (for being the biggest champion, and education in all things music industry) and the rest of The Hunter School of Performing Arts' Music Staff.
Most of all, I have to give props to Craig "Wogo" Sutton (for introducing me to the true world of music and inspiring me to play guitar, which has probably been the strongest influential event in my short life).
Sounds Like: A bass player who actually knows how to use their mid-ranges ;)
