About me... Well, I will try anything atleast once. After high school I went to college for Architecture and never completed. I was just so much interested in the film industry. Everything about it- Hollywood in the 20's and 30's- the studio system of that era- The Glamour, the art, and the craft of movie making. My passion for the film industry was not by choice or out of trying to become famous. It started back in my childhood as a young artist. Drawing, painting, making people laugh, putting models together, playing in the sand box... Creating a world from imagination. But in my mind every one who knows me well, knows me as a painter, all my life I have been a painter, and still am. Painting landscapes, cityscapes, Imagining a world and composing it on paper. I would say that visual storytelling works the same way. Except my canvas is not paper, it is a ratio or a format, film, the theatre screen, your television. I can relate film and painting on so many levels. In film you have to compose your shot- arrange your color pallete, you are in control of depth and focus, light, shadows, mood, texture. And painting is the smae on so many levels. I may be getting off "About me" but I tend to ramble...But yeah, I love film.
