I really enjoy any films by Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Johh Hughes, Joel Schumacher, Cohen Brothers, Alfred Hitchcock, John Carpenter, John Hughes, Wes Craven. I like midnight-cult movies too. I seen quite a few of those while in college and I ADORE Psychological Thrillers! Basically, if the movie makes me think intensely about mysterious evils lurking about, I'll love it! :)
Any British comedy!!!! Likewise, I'm into: Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi!!! Life on Mars, Twin Peaks, Dark Shadows, Six Feet Under, Northern Exposure, My So-Called Life, How Not To Decorate, Little Britain, House, any comedy show from comedians everywhere. I like old-school SNL and shows on BBC America.I like comedians like Rowan Atkinson, all of the men from Monty Python, Eddie Izzard, Little Britain (the 2 men), Richard Pryor, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, John Candy, Bill Murray, all from Blue Collar Comedy Tour, etc.
Anything by Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Washington Irving, James Patterson, Charles Dickens, Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Craven, Ken Follet, VC Andrews, L.M. Montgomery, Mark Z. Danielewski, Weird NJ magazine, Ready Made magazine, art and music magazines., etc. I have quite a few books on bands and the Manchester music scene. I really enjoy learning about that time period and about the Hacienda, Factory Records, Rough Trade Records.I love dark, twisted, scary books. More so, I really enjoy Gothic, romantic fiction and just plain books that give you a good scare!!! Hence my name/alias as "spooky". There's basically, too many to mention but, you know what I'm saying.
