About Me

Hi there! I'm a recent graduate of the Landscape Architecture program at Cal Poly, SLO and no. . .I don't know what's wrong with your lawn. Im presently in Paraguay, South America serving as an environmental education volunteer. I'm particularly interested in researching the manner by which collective cultural memory manifests itself in the landscape. In addition, I'm also interested in researching how immigrants transfer their cultural norms to a foreign country in terms of the built environment. I also consume large quantities of tereré and maté (yerba). I can already see that the way I define my personal history is going to be life before the peace corps and life after the peace corps. If anyone out there is thinking of joining, dont wait. The best time is now. I try to stay in touch with whats going on in this little world of ours, and make the most of the time ive got here. Want to know more? Come get a daily dose of vapidity in my journal . Have a great day!

My Interests

photography, design, snowboarding, drawing, running, going driving and getting lost on purpose, drooling on desks if i happen to sleep in class (like that ever happens, psh), amusing myself with silly things, smiling at people i dont know, sewing things, consumerism, politics, spending money on drafting and art supplies. . .I think im a 9 year old trapped in a larger, somewhat older body - please deal with me acordingly.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who actualy has a brain in that little space above their shoulders. Please read good books, enjoy talking about your magical travels around the world and dig good food. Come visit me in Paraguay!

Music:

Lets just say that I've filled up 60 gigs of my hard drive with music. I'm currently into experimental electronica, in the vein of william basinski, deaf center, et. al.

Television:

I dont watch TV much. My brain loses enough cells as it is.

Books:

I devour art and design books like there's no tomorow.

Heroes:

So you wanna be my hero? Just stand for something, and you're right up there in my book.
