2003 saw the birth of MixedBreed, a five piece pop/rock band hailing from the eastern suburbs, playing songs from ballads to hard rock.
Mixed Breed has recorded two demos and one EP at Backbeach recording studio in Rye, all produced by DW Norton (Superheist, Walk The Earth)
Mixed Breed has undergone some line up changes which included adding a new bass player simon
Mixed Breed is well known at Collingwood's Barleycorn hotel and have good reputation for up and coming performances.
Mixed Breed involve themselves in many fund raising events such as tsunami benefit and youth weeks.
Mixed Breed has a good run in playing at many venues such as The Tote, Revolver, onesixone and Noise Bar which included appearances on Channel 31's Noise TV.
Past achievements include the track "She's My Baby" appearing on the Suburban Movement Vol.1 (with special guest Damien Coulter) as well as the recording of the bands upcoming EP titled "Man's Ruin".
Mixed Breed is influenced by Foo Fighters, Blink 182, and lots more.
