My name is Billy Griparis (my friends call me Billy Gee). I'm from Athens, Greece. I have been skating for 13 years. I like going on skate trips around Europe with my friends, going to the European contests and always have fun. I'm a graphic desiner, have been drawing all my life and also got graffiti skills. I'm working on a newspaper in Athens called Athens Voice. It is a free press newspaper about the city. I got my own page for skateboarding every week and try to do my best for skateboarding in Athens. Also i have designed twice the cover of the newspaper. I have decorated front windows for shops such as Attica which is in the centre of Athens, rooms for Grecotel hotels and have exhibited my art in place such as Benaki Museum,and a lot of shops,rooms,clubs,and streets. (on my art photos you see fresh stuff!) About skateboarding, my sponsors are Es footwear, Cliche skateboards, Carhartt clothing,Autobahn wheels, New Era hats and Eastpak. I have organized five contests in Athens, which i think were quite succesful,and keep organized street skateboarding contest. Also i working for FLIPSIDE skateboard magazine in Greece, try to make good cover for skateboarding all over the greece.
