La Brujita Blair

Blair Urban is from a little town called Laguna Beach, California. Ever since she was young she has been inspired by the beautiful natural scenery where the desert meets the ocean. Creating paintings has always been her favorite pasttime, but her initial curiosity about the wonders of life has propelled her current discovery through the self amongst the energetic abyss of the natural mystic. She sees the paintings as only a by-product of this greater experience, and feels the biggest creative release when she allows the images to just pour through her without being controlled. Spending time in Mazatlan and other places in Mexico has infused in her a sense of cultural connection with the appreciation of natural gifts, something which she feels can easily become lost or hidden in contemporary civilization. She wants to continue to see the world while experimenting with color, form, design, space, magic, light, and time.
