You talk it, I live it. You fake it, I make it.

About Me

I am out in life to live, and love a genuine woman while saving third world countries, and being the superhero I've wanted to be since I was a kid. I enjoy myself no matter what, very laid back despite my pictures, well, sometimes I get crazy haha. I do Silversmithing, Music, Painting, Sculpture, and I have written a quarter of a book about relationships and politics. I was a japanese Chef for four years, but now I am taking a break and waiting tables at a sushi bar. I eat entirely too much sushi, yet not enough. Sake? don't get me started, go get yourself some Hakutsuru Daiginjo........"When will you stop competing? Before you realize, the scenery of spring has turned to autumn. The leaves fall, the geese migrate, the frost gradually grows colder. Clothed and shod, what more do you seek?" -Zen master Fenyang.......We commonly see the appearance of the ego in such things as arrogance and bragging. These things are usually an excercise in self-expansion that have the result, on a later occasion, of self-destruction........"If you have the idea of superiority and are proud of your ability, this is a disaster." -Zen master Yuanwu......."Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?" -Lao-Tzu.......Embrace the idea of breaking even..........patience means, not so much a strong commitment to patience, as an indifference to the passage of time........"One inch ahead is all darkness." -Japanese proverb......."only by avoiding the beginning of things can we escape their ending." -Cyril Connolly, "The Unquiet Grave"......."get the facts, or the facts will get you." -Thomas Fuller......."Pride means the end of wisdom." -Japanese proverb.......Learn how to avoid a losing streak......."when the pools of perception are cleansed, everything appears as it is." -Zen proverb.......When you take your emotions out of the game, other players' emotions become visible. When we focus on our own emotions (as we often are), the emotions of others tend to be obscured. When we make ourselves neutral, however, we find that the canvas suddenly bcomes blank and the emotions of others begin to appear........Even though in a technical sense you may have been playing correctly at times, there was no real soul to your game-you were missing opportunities that were occuring within "the flow."..........stop trying to bull your way through, and get into a rhythm and flow of it, it arrives magically, as if by itself...........your goal as a player is to reach the point where a great many things will have to go wrong for you to loose badly. They will have to go wrong in bunches, repeatedly, for an extended period of time. Once you have reached this point, you won't give it as much weight because you know that such occurances are relatively (and thankfully) rare........All methods of forcing, striving, and straining must be rejected-naturalness embraced. We must step back, see the big picture, and try to get ourselves composed again........Your biggest opponent, and worst enemy, is always yourself........"To overcome the intelligent by folly is contrary to the natural order of things; to overcome the foolish by intelligence is in accord with the natural order. To overcome the intelligent by intelligence, however, is a matter of opportunity." -Zhuge Liang.......Don't out-clever yourself........For some unknown reason, in this (as well as other areas of life), the average person is not accustomed to betting a lot when things turn favorable. He is not used to upping the stakes at these times. He is used to betting the minimum amount when things turn favorable . He becomes tentative, skeptical, fearful. Perhaps he is so relieved to have a winning situation that he just sits back and accepts the win. But the problem here, again, is that by doing this, over the long run you win sizes tend to equal your loss sizes........"disaster sometimes rolls over and becomes a blessing." -Chinese proverb......."The world is ruled by letting things take their course. It cannot be ruled by interfering." -Lao-Tzu.......Love is not sentimentality, nor is it devotion. It is as strong as death. Love cannot be brought through knowledge; and a mind that is prusuing knowledge without love is a mind that deals in ruthlessness and aims merely at efficiency........Leaders destroy the followers and followers destroy the leaders. You have to be your own teacher and your own desciple........If you do not follow somebody you feel very lonely. Be lonely then. Why are you frightened of being alone?.......In inquiring into ourselves we are not isolating ourselves from the rest of the world. It is not an unhealthy process. Man throughout the world is caught up in the same daily problems as ourselves, so in inquiring into ourselves we are not being the least bit neurotic because there is no difference between the individual and the collective. That is an actual fact. I have created the world as I am. So don't let us get lost in this battle between the part and the whole........I am not an abstract entity; therefor, I have to study myself in actuality-as I am, not as I wish to be...........a mind that is burdened by the past is a sorrowful mind........Most of us are not sensitive, even physically. We overeat, we do not bother about the right diet, we oversmoke and drink so that our bodies become gross and insensitive; the quality of attention in the organism itself is made dull..........it cannot be alive if it is caught in opinions, judgements, and values........When we condemn or justify we cannot see clearly, nor can we when our minds are endlessly chattering; then we do not observe what is, we look only at the projections we have made of ourselves. Each of us has an image of what we think we are or what we should be, and that image, that picture, entirely prevents us from seeing ourselves as we actually are........To demand to be safe in a relationship inevitably breeds sorrow and fear. This seeking for security is inviting insecurity........Love is something that is new, fresh, alive. It has no yesterday and no tomarrow........
