About Me

Deep Six Films is an independent production company owned and operated by a group of young filmmakers dedicated to the creation of quality film and video projects that are as entertaining and enjoyable to watch as they are thought-provoking and meaningful. It was founded in March of 2005 as a creative collaboration of several talented filmmakers who met as students at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. They decided to pull their efforts and establish a partnership where they could use their various skills to bring their dreams and visions to the screen.The Deep Six Film group consists of Jacob Kindberg (Editor, Director, Writer), Alexander Carpenter (Writer, Actor), Robert "Bobo" Chang (Director, Writer, Actor), Peter Borrud (Cinematographer, Director), Matthew Jones (Writer, Director, Producer), and the newly added Sydney Alford (Producer).Upcoming Projects: "Choices" -- Written and directed by Matthew Jones, cinematography by Peter Borrud. Drama. "The Last Yanyez" -- Written and directed by Robert Chang. Sci-fi/dramedy. In post-produtcion. "Heart and Will" [tentative title] -- Written and directed by Alex Carpenter, produced by Sydney Alford. Drama. In pre-production. "Awaken" -- Written and directed by Jacob Kindberg. Thriller. "Teen Raptor" -- Written by Robert Chang and Jacob Kindberg, directed by Bobo. Comedy. WATCH ABOVE! "Elevator Going Up" -- Written and directed by Bobo, produced by Sydney Alford. Drama.
