Belly Boat is the name of the love child birthed to Zoe Ruth Cusmus Latta and Silvie Margot Deustch. Born in Santa Cruz, CA in 2004, the child has since then grown and moved east to college and shared custody has landed it in Providence RI and Middletown CT it has a web site... Boat Birth and (try Belly Boat Music) still in progress...presently, Silvie(east) and Zoe(west) are trying out a long distance relationship, but a visit will cause them to embark on a wonderful journey that all you friends can be apart of. Stay tuned for the dates. we hope they'll never end.

"Dear Robert Hanoy" in a full length LP with a few re-recorded songs off of "No Balloons" but is mostly composed of many new "keepers" (14 tracks- compact disk, CDR). It is almost done, and will be released on valentines day 2007 as the the 69th release of off Not Not Fun Records . Get ready for a really pretty deal, the real deal. Circa $10.
"No Balloons" is an EP of sorts (8 Tracks-CDR).
"Live in a House Built By Carpenters" is a live 5-song CDR that was recorded by Greg Barton at a small concert in Providence, October 2005.
the track "Give me a Pot to Piss in and I'll Give You Something to Drink" has recently been released on a split 7" record with 3 other unreleased songs by Sneakypines , Thanksgiving and Phil Elverum (Mt. Eerie/the Microphones) .
it is available at the Stop Drop Records website or the PW Elverum & Sun, LTD. website .
the track "Little Racoon" was released on a double cassette mixed tape titled "Tapeworms Eat Bookworms" off of Not Not Fun Records .
a track that is currently untitled will be released on a compolation that is being put out by Uncommon Folk and Home Tapes . there are 23 contributors on this tape inclubing: The Finches , Akron/Family , Spenking , the Dirty Projectors , Whitman , the Viking Moses , Devendra Banhart and Little Wings .
"Little" will be released in the first issue of a "compilation tape zine" made by a boy named jonah, including other home recordists such as Karl Blau , Nate Ashley , The Gift Machine , Little Wings . It should be out later in the year.
