About Me
Formed in 1994 by director Bruce Rogers, the Chamber Singers are the main performing choir at Mt. San Antonio College in Southern California. This elite, mixed-voice choral ensemble consists of 34 auditioned singers who perform pieces from the Renaissance through new works of the 21st Century. For more than a decade the Chamber Singers have traveled the world and earned notable distinction, having consistently won numerous state, national and international honors. They have received special performance invitations, including:

While performing at the "International Musical Eisteddfod Competition" in Wales, the Chamber Singers competed against 100 choirs from around the world and received more awards than any other competing choir, including first-place awards in the Youth Choir and Chamber Choir categories and a second-place finish in the Choir of the World competition.
Their second European tour included the "Grand Prix Choir Competition" in Varna, Bulgaria, where the Chamber Singers won first-place honors in both the Chamber Choir and Large Mixed categories, as well as the overall first-place "Grand Prix" prize for best choir.
****In July of 2007, the Chamber Singers toured Europe for a third time, representing the United States in the Spittal competition in Austria, and again in the Eisteddfod in Wales! In Spittal, they received the highest marks above all the other choirs with one first place win and an EXTREMELY close second place finish. At Eisteddfod, they once again received the highest marks in the competition, with a First Place ranking in the Youth Choir, Mixed Choir, and Folksong categories. To top off this history-making tour, the Mt. San Antonio College Chamber Singers were named "Choir of the World" at the 2007 Eisteddfod, breaking the record for most wins at any Eisteddfod. This year has been spectacular for this choir, and they are most appreciative and thankful for the opportunity to share the universal language of love and music throughout the world!
