He was raised by his mother (a cook in a local behavior hospital) and his father (who was a well-known preacher in the local area) . In a small southern Baptist Church is where he initially began to fall in love with music. Deal also says that he can still hear his father's Commodores records being played on Saturday evenings before church. What started out as your average emcees love for rap, that turned into a venture that could possibly become a powerhouse production company for years to come. Throughout his high school years he was known for rocking shows on school nights and getting up bright and early for school. He has been featured on or produced projects such as; NBL's "Hardworks Payoff Volume One"(which still today is on yahoo music), La-u Production's "Now or Never" Volume's one and two, Soul Dojo's "Enemy of the State Mix-tape", 22's "100% Hood Mix-tape" Street Pharmacy and HoustonSoReal's "Heart of Houston" feat. Big Nik (one of OG Ron C's proteges), and his solo debut "The Commencement LP" ,in which he produced and wrote. Shortly after Deal's twenty-first birthday, with just his clothes and a Dell laptop, he packed up his belongings and moved to Austin Texas. Doing shows at just about any open mic venue to get his name heard. Upon moving to Austin, Deal began producing and recording fresh material with no help.
