I am a singer/songwriter based in London.i was born in south africa during the apartheid era,a descendant of indian indentured sugar cane labourers who came over during the brit rule.my life at home was shit and i dreamed of running away...so i did and ended up homeless,sleeping rough- a very sobering experience and one that equally fucked me up as well shaped my thinking!i worked as a street trader in cape town and saved my pennies and headed for ...the bright lights of London.i started performing the poetry i'd written since i was a child.i did the live scene-particularly the raucous Foundry in Hoxton.after a music technology course in hackney...i learned to play guitar(taught by Wiggy-who told me he taught his best mate Billy Bragg how to play-i thought he was joking at first!)i write ,record and produce all my music,videos,photography and artwork.The songs on my player are all from my forthcoming ep. mindrebel songs-enjoy!Layout Created @ FreeCodeSource.com
