About Me

Here it is people, the question that I ponder everyday of my life. Am I the artist or am I the art. I am 40 years old. I was in the Marines and I have performed the lead in an Igor Stravinsky Opera in NYC. I am a native of Baltimore, MD and reside here again. My favorite book is Mary Shelley's, "Frankenstein: Or the Modern Prometheus" My favorite movie is "The Exorcist" and normally, I say and write things far more intriguing than what I just have. Aren't I just a silly goose? favorite book of the modern age....The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay! Stupendous!

My Interests

Movies, movies, movies and running and coffee&desserts

I'd like to meet:

Pure intelligence is fascinating to me. One need not be "book smart" or be able to flash fancy words around to gain my interest. Be passionate about something; art, industry, piles of poo it doesn't matter. I find it attractive when women don't find it necessary to heel to convention whether it be fashion or ideals. I'm interested in women who are as into their minds as much or more so than their appearance. Liking who you see in the mirror is whats important. I look into my own eyes in the mirror everyday just to make sure that I'm present to me.

Music:

The Smiths, Pogues, Beethoven, Public Enemy, Glen Campbell, The Arcade Fire, Sex Pistols, Ramones, TOM WAITS, JOHN R. CASH, Nick Cave, JILL SOBULE!-the list goes on and on!

Movies:

Exorcist, Pink Flamingos, Raising Arizona, Shadow of the Vampire, Masculin/Feminin by Godard, The Saddest Music in the World, Head On, Network-it truly is an unending stream of Films, Sweet Christ, I almost forgot Repo Man! I almost completely forgot, "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies".

Television:

History Channel, A&E all murder investigation stuff, Homicide, the Wire, Scrubs, MASH, The First 48 is particularly good!

Books:

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay, Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus, Mockingbird; Wish Me Luck and so many more! Oh yeah, and Assasination Vacation by Sarah Vowell. I Gave them a Sword by David Frost.

Arcade Fire

They are definitely the best band on the Planet.  They fill the stage with energy and power.  They are completely devoid of rock star posing and they don't engage in any mopey shoe-gazing.&n...
