I just joined Amnesty international and I hope to be a serious activist and also decided to go back to study in January and finally become a counsellor. I took me quiet a while to realize that I needed to change and to open my horizon. I have a profound need to find who I am and I hope to embark in the right journey. My last passion is collecting Victorian photos, buy shoes and bags...never enough :-) and cooking and entertaining.I love travelling and I am planning a nice tour around China and Japan next year. If you have names of good restaurants and hotels or general things to see or to do over there please let me know! Many thanks :-DDislike: hypocrisy, lazy people, introverted, smelliness, untidiness, smart ass, unnecessary rudeness, apartheid, sleep on the right side of the bed, loud music, perverts, time wasters.
I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet the Dalai Lama and thank him for all the strength he has giving me during the last couple of months.I am hoping to meet interesting people all over the world and exchange interesting dialogues, jokes and tears.
Music:
I am into anything that make sense in my mind. Deep love for Jazz thought...Jill Scott...!
Other than that I like The Verve, The Clash, Taylor Swift, Ben Harper, Prince...(muhhhh yessss) it depends about my mood I guess :-)
Movies:
Pretty much anything from Almodovar. I have a great collection of his work already or any old movie, black and white and plenty of popcorn :-)
Television:
Not into television anymore. I am trying to push myself to read more books. I can also play now my acoustic guitar but still far away from being Jimmy Hendrix :-D
Books:
Reading a book on "the way to a meaningful life" by his holiness the Dalai Lama.
Surprisingly I also like books from John Connelly, I just finished one called "The book of lost things".

Dalai Lama (I love his teaching), Leonardo da Vinci, people facing wars, the buddist monks fighting in Rangoon.
