About Me

If you are anything like me, you know that I would have to smack myself if I could sum up my entire personality in such a small box. Sounds like a good cop-out answer huh. Truth is, I don't even really know me. I suppose that's one of the purposes of living in this reality. To find one's self. Also, are we really so static that we stay the same forever? People are different from day to day. Minute to minute. Lifetime to lifetime.

My Interests

I am interested in many things and my interests change from time to time so I don't feel that I should put them here or else I would be changing them all the time. In general, I like cooking, reading, hiking, and a plethora of other things.

I'd like to meet:

Buddha.

Music:

Yeah, music is cool.

Movies:

Wow, that's increadible. I've seen movies too!

Television:

Yes, I have a television. Doesn't get used much though except to watch Family Guy, Futurama, Simpsons, Stargate, etc...

Books:

Have you ever read "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn? I highly suggest it. His other works are outstanding as well, "My Ishmael" and "The Story of B." I also like the teachings of Buddha. I have read the Bible, the Quran, and the Bhagavad Gita is next on my list. So far, I am all about the teachings of Buddha. Good stuff. It's more about being a better person and rising above your own existance than all the smiting and angry god stuff from the other books I have read. Also, any book by Dr. Seuss kicks ass.

Heroes:

Most people put political, religious and social heroes here like Ghandi, Dr. Martin Luthor King, Abraham Lincoln, Jesus, Buddha, etc... Personally, some of my greatest heroes were everyday people who did their best to be their best and were always compassionate for others. It would be a long list for me but one of my greatest heroes was just some old lady that would go on long walks in Japan while practicing her enka singing. That was awesome. She didn't care what others would think in an extremely group oriented society. The rose amongst a field of daisies if you will. She's my hero (heroine).

My Blog

Zen

What is in my brain is exactly what is after this sentence.... Nothing.
