Life's too short not to be having fun whenever you can. For me, fun is taking life easy, hanging out with friends, and letting things happen as they will. After all, when its all said and done, its the good times and the memories that last and can never be taken away, not the material things (don't get me wrong, I like my fancy gear, but because it provides me fun, not status). Now more than ever, I want to make it a priority in my life to keep making those great memories and experiencing all life has to offer. Whether its traveling to some new and exciting place or just spending some down time in the Ox with some good people, I want to get the most out of each and every day. I've learned that while sometimes life can be a bitch, you have to shake it off and focus on the good things in your life. And, whoever you are, you probably have more going for you than you may realize. After the things that have happened in my life this past year, I now better realize all the good things I had and still have in mine. A great family that, while far from perfect, is really there for me when I need them. Good friends that I can be myself around and not have to worry about what they might think. A job(s) that while far from my ideal career, allows me the freedom to enjoy my life, pay my bills, save a little, and have fun without enduring too much unnecessary stress. Basically, life is pretty good. The world would be a better place if everyone listened to a little more Buffet, or at least acted like they did.
