About Me

Kamakaze is a Mexican/Native American rapper that has been rapping since the age of 11. He was born and raised in Oxnard, California. You may know him from his first street released mixtape entitled "Tha Streetz Iz Talkin'" (Volume 1) which created a lot of buzz in the 805 as well as various other parts of California. He is currently working on 2 new mixtapes..."California Livin'" (Tha Mixtape) and "Still Talkin'" which will include many new guest features. Also set to be released this year by Kamakaze is his debut album "California Livin'" which is set to be released in 08 and will include producers ranging from "Shade", from Playground Records, "DJ Phobia" and "Solternity". This album will feature "California Livin'", "Cruisin'" and "Tha Truth" which were featured as snippets on his mixtape and will also contain the bonus track "California Livin'" (Remix) featuring Raskandalus. Influences: I Have been heavily influenced by some of hip-hop's legends such as The Group N.W.A. and rappers Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, Big Pun, and Hip-Hops' living Legend The Game, as well as many Underground latino recording artists such as Kid Frost, Proper Dos, Cali Lifestyle, Cypress Hill, Lighter Shade Of Brown, Lil Rob and last but not least my cousin Rascal who got me into rapping in the first place. I would also like to thank my uncle "Boo-Boo" for inspiration and giving me the swift kick in the ass that I need from time-to-time. You've done things for me that you didn't have to and never asked for anything, unlike some of my other family members.
