Hollywood Jones and The Lovetones

It's all about the love...

About Me

Described as Detroit's premier party band, fusing classic blues-rock with jazz overtones. Soulful, sometimes edgy vocals and a solid fusion back beat help keep the audience swinging. Requests and the ability to read the audience help us cater our sound to your venue. Performance driven with an addiction to showmanship, HJLT is taking covers to the next level. Sweating out rock, swing and soul, we put our trademark on every song we play!
All members have been included with some of Detroit's finest bands and continue to further their musical careers with networking, determination and pure talent. Hollywood Jones has had the honor of opening for the likes of Little Charlie and The Nightcats and Johnny Winter and has been awarded twice with the Talent Deserving Wider Recognition Award from the Metro Times Music Awards. Hollywood can impress even the most skeptical guitar players with his broad style of playing. Tom Piskor has a true homegrown feel of the piano and continues to drive us to the next level in song selection and writing. Pete Hassett and Rocco Ambrose (Bass and Drums) strive to keep their inner workings of their instruments tight and together, like no other rhythm section can. Leaving Jason Barge to fill the room with his vocal abilities. His talent and character shine to the crowd and keep them wanting MORE! Given the complete musicianship within Hollywood Jones and the Lovetones; from Seger to The Allman Brothers, Mitch Woods to The Spinners, there is not a lot this band can't hand out and leave your audience smiling and begging for more. Not to be confused with your standard blues band… Hollywood Jones and The Lovetones will bring fans to your seats and keep them there.
