Myspace was invented for people to show off how witty they can be, using text as a medium. Since I can not be witty using text as a medium, I am naturally above this and consider it to be an extremely sophomoric endeavor.

My Interests

Interested in the finer things in life.Fine Women.Fine Wine.Fine Song.Fine Food.Fine Women.Fine Literature.Fine Women.Enjoys chill music and intense discussion. Wild nights and easy days. Relaxed people and energetic encounters.Literature and thought are drugs of choice, while alchohol remains an exotic mistress.

I'd like to meet:

"Cool people who like to party." Yeah, everyone says that. I want to meet lame people who just want to sit and drink some beer while we talk about stupid philosophical things that we'll be ashamed to admit when we hit 30 and figure out that we're just stupid young people at college. Yeah...I wanna meet those people.

Music:

Postal Service, Rage Against the Machine, Coldplay, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Incubus, Weezer, Ben Folds Five, Led Zeppelin, Simon & Garfunkel, Jimi Hendrix, Breaking Benjamin, Modest Mouse, Black Eyed Peas, Flogging Molly, The Clancy Brothers, Josh Roseman UnitOr anything else that's "Cool" or "you wouldn't know it because they don't play it on the radio." Yeah, well...I read books that you don't know, punk.

Television:

I don't watch TV, but "Lost" is the new pink. "24" is an industry standard. "Desperate Housewives" is so five minutes ago.

Books:

Sometimes it seems that all I do is read...Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series, J.R.R. Tolkien (apparently before he had movie deals), Anne McCaffery, Orson Scott Card, C.S. Lewis, "Calvin and Hobbes," "The Far Side," Wired, Lord of the Flies, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Swiss Family Robinson, Classical Apologetics, Pre-Suppositional Apologetics, Theology Books, Humanist Thought, Philosophy, Aristotle (but he told us he hates Aristotle) Plato's Republic, Ender's Game, Ender's Shadow, Dune, The Grapes of Wrath, Oliver Twist, Les Miserables, Great Expectations, Last of the Mohicans, Robinson Crusoe, The Canterbuy Tales, Harry Potter (wtf?! Nerd!), and more and more and more and more......ok eventually cut myself off. I kept listing book upon book and author upon author. Basically, I read. Anything. If you're looking to catch Zack's eye, it probably doesn't matter what you look like. If you've got something interesting to say about a book, this lad is yours for the taking.

Heroes:

Pacifists. And only Pacifists. Once you are one, you'll understand.

My Blog

Ready for the close up

An incredible thing happened.  Blew my mind.  A few days ago I felt like a hero, today I felt like a celebrity.  It changed the whole direction of my day.  Thank goodness I went fo...

Life from the pool deck

It's 6:30 and the sun is setting, I am in a poor mood.  Not for long, thankfully, but it was a weird trip to go from good to bad to good. I came home today at around noon, to a house that wa...

Through the Window Blinds

There's an air of suspicion in this blog.  I have all the lights off in the house and I cast glances behind me like the dog may suddenly turn double agent on me.  The world is a dreadful pla...

Balancing out the bad deeds

Today I saved the day.  Not just my day, but the "day" for countless hundreds of people.  My quick and timely actions saved a whole community from untold frustration and disaster.  In f...

Time to Toss the Dice

There are sometimes in life where events tend to get a little boring.  I've noticed that this is usually around 3:00 to 4:00 AM for me.  It might be different for you, but this is a blog abo...

The Day Men Failed

I came home from work juiced up on coffee and mountain dew.  Eight hours of testing the new coffees that the Border's cafe will be offering really elevates your caffiene levels. I couldn't sit s...

Walking makes me poetic...but not skilled.

Umm....so I was walking home from work today, a good hour or so walk, and I realized I was counting the beats the my footsteps made.  Sooo....I started rhyming to it.  Apparently walking mak...
