About Me

Okay, a while back I heard from a friend of mine that some dude in Iceland... or was it Antarctica? Anyway, he and I were suppose to be like, the last two people on Earth not on MySpace, but then I read somewhere that even he's on it now.
So I figured I'd check out what all the fuss was about.
So... ya wanna know a little something 'bout me?
I was raised on the leeward side of Oahu (The West is the best!) and graduated from Nanakuli High School. After which I majored in music at Leeward Community College and then went on to earn my Master's Degree at The School of Hard Knocks in Europe and California playing music for nearly 20 years with my two brothers: Danny (guitar) and Aaron (drums).
With all my "Rock Star" dreams fullfilled, I returned home here to Hawaii in 2000 to semi-retire, content working as a musician and a teacher. In my spare time I recorded an eponymous CD of Solo Bass music in 2001 which, much to my surprise, went on to modest international acclaim, helping me to secure endorsement deals with Gallien-Krueger Amplification and Wilkat Guitars , starting me off all over again.
Here are a few short sample mp3s from that CD:

First and foremost though, I would like to say that I am a proud Papa who's children are the fifth generation of my family to call the islands home.
...and I love my Mom.
