The Chic Miniature project, a duo composed of Ernesto Ferreyra (Argentina) and Guillaume Coutu Dumont (a.k.a. Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, Egg, Luci, etc.), was an idea first discussed over glasses of Michelada in Mexico City. After a second encounter in Chile, and Ernestos subsequent move to Montreal, the partnership became a reality. Chic Miniature launched its first EP, Conexion Califa (Raum Musik), named in honour of Mexico Citys best taqueria and is preparing his upcoming release on Montreals label Musique Risquee. Chic Minature is a spicy fusion of Latin influences, hypnotic grooves, and melancholic melodies that is best savoured at sunrise.
