THE GNOKKERS are the biggest THE DARKNESS' fans in the world. We met on the band's official forum and once we met, we became inseparable! We also had the great chance to go together to the band's wonderful gig in Milano, on 17th March 2006. And we rocked hard!
Let's now explain the origin of our name. The pronunciation of the word Gnokkers is pretty similar to the pronunciation of Knockers; The Darkness' song. And Gnokka (written Gnocca) in Italian means very gorgeous girl.
So why did we decide to call ourselves The Gnokkers?! Well, actually we have to thank The Brightness (first The Darkness' Italian tribute band). The idea came from them. In fact, they once played Knockers at a show and the singer was taken onto stage by three beauties; so they renamed the song Gnokkers.
But now there are 4 in The Gnokkers (alphabetically listed): Ada, Miky, Nicole and Valery.
Each Gnokker has her own idol:
Ada ------------------- Ed
Miky ------------------ Richie
Niky & Valery -------- Dan
...and Justin is our lovely mascotte!
We began to take it seriously and thought about drawing a logo, creating a website or a MySpace etc.
So we asked our friend Vetdesigner (God bless her!) to create our logo. And as you can see it looks marvellous!
Then we took the decision to create our own MySpace and promote our activity.
Now we are ready to take over the world and darknessize everyone of you!
