About Me

Coming from diverse musical backgrounds, Huzzah! The Informants quickly formed in 2006 with an aim of stirring the pot of conventional ennui with deep obeisance for the time-honored. With that in mind, they decided that the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds its contribution to the creative act. They invite you to join them in their quest. As music is the poetry of sound, so is painting the poetry of sight and the subject-matter has nothing to do with harmony of sound or of color. Come with no expectations.
With that in mind, please read carefully their promises to you:
Huzzah! The Informants will NEVER: overcrowd your bulletin board, ask you to "vote for us" for anything, play a "battle of the bands," make you buy a ticket for an overpriced show, put less than 110% in any performance, put an advert or a "thanks for the ad" message in your comments and in anyway get on your nerves.
However, they WILL answer each and every question you ask them and respond to your messages, entertain you, respect you, be your friend and enjoy your company, play anytime anywhere (including your backyard or basement). Huzzah! The Informants know there is a much better life outside this lackluster internet world and want to you to experience it to the best of your ability. Get off the computer. Call a friend.
If you have any inquiries about booking, send a message. If you give your phone number, you will get a call. This world needs to be more personal and your comments and critiques are more appreciated than you think.
