About Me

Duce-Tre has the newest underground sound coming out of the Golden State. Originally from the Bay Area, California, he is now located in the nation's capital of Washington, DC. As a representative of 730 Commission, Duce-Tre is a solo artist working with Damon "D-Stubbs" Stubblefield, president of Fly-iSH Recordings. Duce-Tre, also known by other alias "Sneaky McScruff" has been in the music industry for quite some years now. He has recently been using his student affiliation through Howard University as a key to gaining public access. As a recent graduate, he has used the school's fame and resources to quickly launch a powerful career. A couple years ago he completed a group album entitled "The Clock Don't Move" with the 730 Paperboys. A music video was shot to the single Slow Your Roll and made the top 100 countdown on the local channel 77 music video station "Luv-TV." This video stayed in regular rotation for well over a year.
The debut solo album Platinum Mouthpiece will be the key and formula for authentic hip-hop of this millenium which is slowly declining in creative skill, talent, and versatility. Bay Area term platinum mouthpiece is used to describe one who can articularte the the most impeccable vernacular tactics to manipulate the outcome of situations. It is a symbolic metaphor for having a mouth full of gold, platinum, or high value, without literaly having to have to metal caps in your grill. Duce-Tre promotes platinum mouthpiece in all of his work because that is what his material exemplifies.
This album contains songs of totally different subject matters and topics that are all relevant to the lifestyle of a "Sneaky McScruff" and "Swindel King" like Duce-Tre himself. One thing that separates Duce-Tre's music from most mainstream rap is that he reaches out to the common man that is in the club having the same fun as the big ballers, without the big baller money. He doesn't talk about materialistic things like expensive clothes, cars, and jewelry. Duce-Tre explains how having a platinum mouthpiece can bring about the finest women in the world who will like and accept you for who you are and not what you have. The album's second single Swindel King is the crowd's number one choice, which goes more in depth about this specific subject matter.
