J-KRISS "ORIGINAL CREW"

J-KRISS was Born James Christopher Harvey in Alburquerque,New Mexico onJanuary 23,1988.In 1991 his family then relocated to Phoenix,AZ where hehas resided for the past 15 years of his life. He attended Arcadia High Schoolfor 1 semester before being Expelled. Then he was faced with a dicision to goto a different public high school or Metropolitan Arts Institute a charter highschool In phoenix's downtown district. kriss gave the arts a shot andshadowed a student by the name of Eric Smith. After just one day of visitinghe decided on going there because of it's liberal veiws and strike againstconformity. what he didn't know was that student Eric Smith turned out to behis DJ 4 years later.He studied film and creative writing for 4 years. J-Krissstarted out writing poems screen plays stuff of that nature. When he wasintroduced to Hieroglyphics and Jedi Mind Tricks freshman year it was thefirst type of underground hip hop that he had discovered and it changed hislife forever. Doing free writes was his thing until it came to the insturmentalaspect of music he created half assed beats and ruled out producing.Aftergraduating in 2006 he started to mold his career networking,practicing,freestyling,battleing at parties and local venues, but his emotional lyricsresinate in your head and make you realize problems worldwide and he's notjust serious music he can create club bangers as well. He is now attendingThe Conservitory of Recording Arts and Sciences to become a soundengineer. J-Kriss created a side project with Clockworkfrom Higher Inteligence called "Thee Originals".The crew has done many shows throughoutArizona and continues to push forward planning state to state tours. Also in association withSRM BEATS in California his new album entitled "A Teens Dream" has sold over 500 copiesso far not counting downloaded mp3's.
