Transglobal Vibes was an event created to be my school's final project.
Related with the name of the course-Digital Media producer, my intentions was to work with one band, record and film them and then creating a final product that would make use of different and recent technologies, to go along with this technology revolution .
There was different stages of production: firstly on pre-production, we had a meeting( me and the band) , where we decided that the best way would be, providing different pieces of information and situations and show them via DVD and thru the internet, using places like my space, youtube and other places where we can reach everybody interested worlwide. We started to go to a school studio and record and film the session, to be included as part of the extras on the dvd and as well, to programe all the devices for a live event mixed in surround sound.( like efx, surround panning and automations)
On the show, that was already been filmed and recorded, we arrange to do a real time ineternet streaming, but didn't work, related with technical issues. The main idea was making use of the most recent technologies to provide to fans and people interested to enjoy the event disregarding their location.
The show was mixed with a 6.1 surround system, had Vjing and other projections, lights, dancers, fire show and two bands acts. the second band performed as support act, creating more variety of styles. what you see here on the videos is just the first cut from the video and the audio mixed, not mastered yet.The dvd is mixed in stereo and surround 5.1 and will include a variety of extras.
