Somebody once said that "Change is inevitable", Thats it's only a matter of time". Well, as luck would have it, that time is Now! Meet "JonRa". A real life "Band of Brothers" from Jacksonville, Florida, who, for the last three years, have been blazing a trail across the country, "Lighting up stages" and winning over the hearts and minds of all who bare witness to their "Back in the Day" brand of R&B and Hip-Hop. Drawing inspiration from the "Old School" R&B/Funk Bands they grew up listening to, the Johnson brothers formed up, recorded a Demo, and took it straight to the streetz. The rest, as they say, is history. JonRa is an amazing anomoly. Who would have predicted that "The Next Generation of R&B", would explode on the scene in the form of...well...these guyz? Not only do they transcend conventional boundaries, they have redefined them. Their ability to cross over all ethnic, cultural and musical genre's, coupled with their charismatic style and humorous interaction, give the brothers instant mass appeal, making the musical siblings, one of the hottest "up & coming" R&B acts around. In fact, JonRa's "Rising Star" status was validated in 2006, and again in 2007, when they were voted "R&B Artist of the Year" at the Southern Independent Music awards, "Underground Oscars". Yup, change was inevitable, and in this case, change is good. In a day and age where "mediocrity" is the norm and "sameness" the standard, Jon'Ra is a breath of fresh air. Gifted, yet grounded.
