I am med student about to take the boards very soon to get my license to practice. I am going into plastic surgery because not only its a very lucrative field but it allows me to pursue my other hobby ... Art.... This field of medicine allows me to study and observe both fields of interest.... I will not only do cosmetics but do such surgeries such as facial reconstructions, burns etc.... For the past 5-6 years have been researching Hepatitis C, a very deadly liver disease... We submitted the new drug that is awaiting FDA Approval... hopefully soon.... My nationality is Portuguese and Indian, I am not Italian,lol. My other passion is travelling.. I have traveled all over the world. I do like Europe very much because its not America:)... I love Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, U.K..... My next trip is going to Eastern Europe.... I am planning to go there when I get some time... I love the Carribean very much. Its my second home... I have been to St Maartin, St Barts, Aruba, Bahamas, US Virgin Islands and Grand Cayman... I have also spent a year in Africa in the Peace Corps.. made me change my view of what direction in life I wanted to go into. I enjoy sports with a passion.. Soccer is the greatest sport on earth... Fav teams are Manchester United and Arsenal... I like American football as well... I was raised in the Bay Area so I love all the local Bay Area teams..
