Life's a voyage that's homeward bound.

About Me

Small town Missouri girl wised up and moved to Connecticut (96-97), then NYC (98-03), then New Jersey (03-?). Next year I'll be living in Philadelphia, starting culinary school - The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill. Nanny for over 9 years, and love love love what I do. I think I've been tamed, and I'll be leaving the glamour of my nanny-to-the-stars life, and be off to see the world (there's such a lot of world to see) with my gorgeous boyfriend of over 5 years, Mark. He proposed in June of 2006, and we are planning our wedding for June 21, 2008 in Pennsylvania. I figure better late then never to make an honest man out of him. ;) This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

It's heartbreaking...

...thinking I might leave this nanny job when I get married. The commute would be over an hour, and it's not something I am looking forward to, or would be a financially smart thing to ...

Also, sports!

Flyers-Rangers game Saturday night. Lost 5-4, with 13 (yes, THIRTEEN) shoot-outs. Ouch. It's still way early in the season, so I can't get too sad. Plus I scored more tickets to the Flyers-Blues&...

Poor Mark finally got me to agree to marry him! And it only took 4 years and a big diamond ring! Now, that wasn't too hard, was it? :) The big day is October 27, 2007. I'm not a poufy white dress kind...
