I don't know if I agree with the existance of this category. A hero is an ideal of what should be, and there is no person, live or dead, who holds claim to having ever lived the ideal life. We have all been vain, petty, or cruel. We have all hurt someone at least once in our lives. Heroes can only be found in our fiction or the dreams we hold in our hearts of who we should have been had the realities of life not aided in pushing us down paths we wish we hadn't walked.
