Brooke Sharkey is an exceptional singer, guitarist and songwriter at just 19 years old. She was born in England but lived in France for 8 years, from the age of nine. Being bi-lingual, she sings as easily in French as she does in English. Brooke's style is relaxed and poetic as for her voice, she has been compared to eva Cassidy and Nora Jones.Since her return to England, she has gigged with her father Geoff Sharkey, a seasoned professional, and silenced noisy audiences with her pure and strong vocals. Brooke performs on the following CD's: 'Rural Revolution', 'Emma 2006', both compilation albums and her own albums; 'the feel' and most recently, a live studio work, 'live@redroque'. This showcases 11 self-penned tracs, on which she plays guitar and sings solo.
