ive got a special passion for the CoMsAt AnGeLs Jive music label era in the 80s when the band did some of its best rock songs with the albums 'Land' & 'Seven day weekend' plus a recording for a live beeb radio broadcast too on which the band did 2 songs from 7 day namely 'high tide' & 'you move me' plus we included our cover version of a rolling stones song titled 'citadel' into the broadcast. These songs have been included on the beebs 'time considered as a helix of semi-precious stones' cd which is a lively compilation of the bands beeb radio sessions from the early to mid 80s. just listen to the final takes on there of the above 3 songs which show that the band woz positively charged with energy & vigour for these songs. i do the lead guitar on these 3 songs & am the one who sings a bit like a young alison moyet on the doubled up singing on 'you move me' too. although these were recorded back in the mid 80s they sound amazingly up to date today & really rock! so enjoy :-]
