Sound originaria de Granada, actualmente afincada en Barcelona, compuesta por Pablo a.k.a Lamotta Selecta y Sergio a.k.a Ehmailer.
Rebelmadiaq SoundSystem nace en septiembre del 2003, después de varios proyectos en solitario y muchos años de amor por la música negra. Sus actuaciones suponen un recorrido por el ayer y el hoy de la música jamaicana, pasando por sonidos que van desde el early reggae hasta el roots y el dancehall más actual.
Siempre comprometidos con proyectos e iniciativas transformadoras, promueven el soundsystem como una forma popular de difundir la cultura y las ideas propias, intentando recuperar así la esencia de este formato que se remonta a los inicios del reggae, que fue medio de expresión durante los turbulentos años de dictadura en la pequeña isla caribeña y que persiste hoy día como un elemento fundamental dentro del desarrollo del género.
Han actuado en numerosas salas, festivales y eventos a lo largo y ancho de Andalucía, Madrid, Valencia, Catalunya, León, La Rioja, Murcia, Alicante… junto a bandas, sounds, cantantes y selectores tales como Fuman Selecta, Barbass Sound, Nashari Sound, Warrior Vybz, Yosahn Selecta, Dance Crashers, Pirat..s Sound Sistema, Irie Lion Sound, Revolutionary Brothers, Digital Dubs (Brasil), At Versaris, Red Soul Community, Neblina Sound, Shanty Town, Pepper Pots, Garou, B.K.C, Los Dingos, Benjammín, Daddy Rings, Soweto, Txilum, Root Diamoons, Daddy Fredy, Jelen Green Selecta, King Ragganaiser, Saxon Sound (Londres), etc…
Con periodicidad intermitente, editan diferentes volúmenes de una serie de mixtapes bajo el sobrenombre de "Jhirviendo" (en la actualidad por el 4º volumen), así como diferentes demos de sus cantantes habituales. Recién comenzado el 2008, ponen en marcha una nueva serie de mixtapes temáticas registradas a tiempo real tituladas "Cucumber" y que se caracterizan por estar grabadas en riguroso vinilo 7" (45 rpm), no incluir dubplates y, en ocasiones, realizadas conjuntamente con selectores y sound systems amigos.
Desde principios de 2007, Rebelmadiaq trabaja y cuenta con estudio de grabación propio donde autogestionar buena parte de sus producciones.
Una ocasión para abandonar la indiferencia y bailar hasta caer rendido con los clásicos y nuevos ritmos jamaicanos.

Rebelmadiaq SoundSystem was born in September, 2003, after several projects in solitarily and many years of love for the black music. His performances suppose a tour in the yesterday and the today of the Jamaican music, happening for sounds that go from the early reggae and oldies tunes up to the roots and the most current dancehall.
Always compromised with social projects and left political iniciatives, they promote the soundsystem as a popular way of spreading the culture and the own ideas, trying to recover this way, the essence of this format that goes back to the beginnings of reggae, it was a way of expression during the turbulent years of dictatorship in the small Caribbean island and, persists today, as a fundamental element inside the development of the genre.
They have acted in numerous rooms, festivals and events lengthways and width of Andalusia, Madrid, Valencia, Catalunya, León, La Rioja, Murcia, Alicante … close to bands, sounds, singers and selectors such as Fuman Selecta, Barbass Sound, Nashari Sound, Warrior Vybz, Yosahn Selecta, Dance Crashers Sound, Pirat's Sound System, Irie Lion Sound, Revolutionary Brothers, Digital Dubs (Brasil), At Versaris, Red Soul Community, Neblina Sound, Shanty Town,Root Diamoons, Pepper Pots, Garou, B.K.C, Los Dingos, Benjammín, Daddy Rings, Soweto, Txilum, Jelen Green Selecta, King Ragganaiser, Daddy Fredy, Saxon Sound (London), Chernovinyl, The Kinky Coo Coo..s, etc…
With intermittent periodicity, they edit different volumes of a mixtape serie under the nickname of "Jhirviendo" (at present for 4º volume), as well as different demos of their habitual singers. Newly begun 2008, they start a new series of mixtapes registered in time royal titled "Cucumber" and that are characterized for being recorded in rigorous 7" vinyl (45 rpm), not to include dubplates and, in occasions realized together with selectors and sound system friends.
From the beginning of 2007, Rebelmadiaq works on own recording studio where to automanage good part of their productions.
An occasion to leave the nonchalance and to dance up to falling down with the classic and new Jamaican sounds.
