So besides my not small archive of sound storage media (Vinyl, CDs, Tapes, etc.) I put myself in the position of thee headmaster of my imaginary label FREAKQUENZY RECORDS. A Place for all music-doin freaks of my home area Diepholz and also for music I do with friends (Countless Jam-Projects and two "serious" Bands: THE UNFUZZBARN and MULTIPLE DAWN TRIO). This stuff is Guitar driven Shit
Music:
Like mentioned in my Interests, I´m a damn collector of music, over the years specialized into Vinyl. I´m barely makin hold in any musical direction... it´s easier to say what I am not interested in. But anyway there are main categories I prefer (who does not...)
at first Guitar-Music... on one Side the so called STONER-Rock Section (Kyuss/Fu Manchu/Monster Magnet/Quotsa... to name a few of the popular guys), which includes DOOM and DRONE (Electric Wizard, SONS of OTIS... SUNNO))))...) so much to the "hard" fuel for my music brain.
Next is the Psychedelic 60s Section (13th Floor Elevators, Boston Sound, Garage Music, the MONKS, SONICS), Hand-in-Hand with 50s, 60s & Neo-Surf and Rock´n´Roll (DICK DALE, LINK WRAY, SURFARIS, ah toooooo many) and not to forget Obscurities/Easy Listening Grand Masters and more from the 60s (LALO SCHIFRIN, PETER HERBOLZHEIMER, PETER THOMAS).
Musical Archive is enhanced with blocks of Blues & Country, Jazz, Electronics (I prefer the Jazzy Style of BigBeat... Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Martin, Medeski & Wood...), Soundtracks, Classic, ...maybe I post some of my favourite Sound-Engineers in the music world...

.. FLIXSTER MCT RESULTS END -Uuuh YEAH, I LOVE Movies, too... nowadays I´m no student anymore I have to admit that my yearly movie-rate gone down from high-level 370 movies to average 230 movies. But I think it´s still a high frequenzy of flics.
Similiar to music I could talk about movies for days without runnin out of topics. and yes, there are categories I prefer.
I like Asian Cinema in many ways. Old-School Kung-Fu Flics and today Eastern Action Cinema in it´s colorful variatons. Asian Horror Stuff. and Mangas of Course. I like the action in the Eastern Flics. It´s no fight, it´s art. A dance. Any Hollywood-movie-fight is so plump lame-ass against an original eastern style attack (yeah, they begin to catch eastern stunt coordinators to comprehend a little, but you know - a good car doesn´t mean a good driver).
--- Next would be Sci-Fi & Fantasy. Yeah, there are so many, but so less good ones. It´s annoying when they just take a "normal earth story" a let it take place in a spaceship. that´s so dull. so what´s sci-fi about that?
Included in the Sci-Fi section there are the Horror/Fantasy/Sci-Fi Movies from the 30s way to the mid 70s. they were really sci-fi. utterly strange. or just funny.
OK enough of that. But before I tell ya my favourite movie:

Television:
I´m not the biggest friend of television. Most time I use it to tape movies I´d like to see (with a timer). TV situation in Germany is bad enough. mind-killin dumbmaker-shows hand-in-hand with gory/sexist/crime-sensation-news-shit, not to forget the damn advertisment. No, my opinion about TV is not in a good light. I prefer watchin video. I can do it when I want and what I want. Sure there are some things I watch in TV. But mainly I tape and then I watch later (SIMPSONS, FUTURAMA, GILMORE GIRLS, MALCOLM, SOUTH PARK).
