About Me

I'm kind of an introvert, if you know me in person I probably come off snotty, but I'm not. Just shy. Once I open up I talk nonstop, I have firm beliefs on a lot of issues and if you get me started I'll probably share them. I'm exceptionally protective of those I care about. I've been known to have a temper, but like my dad I have a fine line--it takes a lot to make me angry but once I'm there there's hell to pay. I'm sensitive, but I don't usually show it. My expectations always exceed my reality, but I suppose that's where I get my motivation. I hate bugs, but have become unfortunately well accustomed to them. I'm still trying to answer the post-grad question: so what next? Any questions? :-P This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

My Interests

Music, bikes, running, knitting, cooking and baking, Broadway musicals, reading, animal rights, dancing, friends, coffee, sucking it up at pool, pizza, snowboarding once in a great while, kettle corn, shopping, scrapbooking, chocolate, fondue, dark beer, raspberry martinis, AND I want to run a half marathon...someday...

I'd like to meet:

Myself in 10 years.

Music:

Pretty much everything...try me!

Movies:

I'm starting to understand the downside to chick flicks. My favorite movies still have fast cars, big explosions, and a little mystery. But if I had to list a chick flick, The Prince and Me, for sure.

Television:

The Unit, CSI Las Vegas, Army Wives, Futurama, The Simpsons...GMA while I'm drinking my coffee. I'm not the type to grab the remote and change it to what I want to watch, so I guess that exposes me to more shows I wouldn't normally watch.

Books:

Anything by Rudolfo Anaya, the Da Vinci Code, biographies, etc. I'm reading The Audacity of Hope right now...it's great so far!

Heroes:

Tough call.

My Blog

What is it about the weekend?

You look forward to it all week long, as if it's this majestic escape from the daily grind...but all Saturday ever turns out to be is a day to do laundry, catch up on homework, and buy grocieries (if ...

For those of you who're wondering...part II

Yes, I am happier now. I have heard that more than one person has asked if I am happier now...and yes. Blissfully happy in fact. Not that living at Tri Delta was a bad experience, but I have a beautif...
