Wednesday nights is the spot to be if you're a hip hop artist. On top of having one of the best stages to perform on at the Rocket in Jackson it's also ladies night so you'll be performing infront of large crowds. There will be great drink specials specified on our flyer.Every wednesday night we're going to have a ladies/open mic night at the Rocket. The open mic will consist of two 5 man freestyle sessions. During the freestyle session the crowd your performance as you spit your best verse over the beat picked by the dj. If you suck you get booood off the stage just like the gong show. If you shine you have a chance to battle the best performer from the second freestyle session. The winner of the battle comes back to battle the winner of the next weeks show. At the end of six weeks the emcee with the most wins under his belt gets a showcase performance as well as 5 hours recording time in Mad Kap studios. We're going to promote your performances with flyers, the internet and enhanced CD flyers.
