About Me

Jonny Spitfire is an up and coming hip-hop artist. A Jackson veteran who has been a major part of the cities rap scene since 1997. Basicly just a battle rapper until 2006 when The Rocket Nightclub held a rap battle with the winner recieving a slot on the upcoming Youngbloodz show. Since then he has been a staple in the Jackson hip-hop community. Coming up with the Indie label MsM he performed with the likes of: Youngbloodz, Harvey Lee, Young Buck (2), Twista, Dem Franchise Boyz, Petey Pablo, Cassidy, Young Dro and Tone Tone. In 2007 Spitfire was asked to perform at an MMA event put on by XCC. He later ventured on to the promoting side and with DJ Mike Holiday put on the sucsessful "Bring The Noize" with Burning Man, Organized Mess, Arcadia Zero, Despite The Risk, Philthy and many more artist. "Bring The Noize II" coming mid Feb. Spitfire appeared on the "Beat The System Vol1" Mixtape along with Detroit XM Radio top 40. In 2007 he released his first mixtape "Almost Famous" and is planning a mid 2009 release of his first album "Revolution" with guest cameos with Philthy, DHall and Chief.

Influences: The main influence in my life would have to be my grandfather Vern Bull RIP and the ALL MIGHTY LORD you know how I feel about you thank you!!!!.....With that said my musical influences are Jay-Z, Rage Against The Machine, Knowlyfe, Eminem, Twista, Joe Budden, Cassidy, Reed Dollaz, Sublime, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Fabolous, Burnin Man, Chief, Paradime, Moe Dirdee, Hostyle, Charles Lewis Jr....the list goes on and on
