I'm just a mom trying to keep in touch with family. And so far this is working out pretty good!
I am also an animal lover. Rottweilers Rule! You can see my 4 legged children in my pics. I work with a local rescue group and by teaming up with her she has helped me rescue over 100 cats and 20 dogs in the past year.I would like to add this piece of advice for those of you wanting to get a dog (especially your first). Sign up for obedience classes. They are offered at a number of retail outlets and through local dog clubs even police stations. I beleive training classes make your new pet a member of the family for life. Many of the dogs that are given up have had no training at all. I also believe that your dog is only as dumb as YOU allow him to be.Please keep in mind when getting a pet, that this is a life that depends on YOU. For life! Even if you get a new boy/girl friend. Or have to move. One popular excuse is "The place I'm moving to won't allow pets" then why would you want to pay them money to live there, if they made you give up part of your family.
