About Me

"If a million stupid people believe a stupid thing, it is still a stupid thing," Sister Josephine, Hell to Pay by Simon Green (2006).
I've been writing for about ten years and I'm working on finding a publisher. I've posted some short stories and a poem in my blog. Each of my main characters can be found here on myspace:
InHumanity - is a social commentary guised as a Zombie Novel. Jack, the main character, is infected with a disease that reanimates corpses. The Zombies have been at war with the human Hunters for 30+ years. Jack's niece comes to the Wasteland to get a grasp on the situation hoping to make a recommendation as to whether the area/inhabitants are worth saving. Jack, keeping his indentity a secret, works as her guide through the Wasteland. Rated R for vulgar language, disturbing violence and alcohol use. You can meet Jack here.
Limited Edition Limited Edition - Kizdane is a narcotics cop, reassigned to a murder case because he has specialized knowledge. All the victims are Chimeras (half-animal, half-human) like Kizdane, but they are all young male prostitutes. Kelly is Kizdane's top informant, a Chimera, and a young, male prostitute. To catch a killer, Kizdane must place his best friend in the path of danger(Kizdane = half dragon & Kelly = half rabbit). Rated R for sexual situations, adult language, acts of violence, mild drug & alcohol use.
Limited Edition 2 - without spoiling the first book, it takes a look at Kizdane and Kelly three years later, their developing realtionships, and a past that won't stay in the past. Books 3 and 4 are in development - so no spoilers. Rated R for sexual situations, language, violence, drug & alcohol use.
You can meet at Kelly and
Kizdane here.
Raising Cain - Sonny is a young man who died of cancer and was brought back to life by his deranged father. Keilah is a preacher's daughter and Necromancers. They meet at the New Haven school of Necromancy where they battle the undead and worse. Rated R for sexual situations violence, and mild language. You can meet Sonny here.
Religious Orders - August is a vampire working for the Catholic church hunting down other vampires. Having taken a vow to never drink human blood, he's at a disadvantage until he meets Ky. (Not finished, but getting there). Rated PG13 violence and strong language. You can meet August here.
I'm always looking for fan art for my books, if you'd like to draw something from one of my books, please do and I'll post it on my pictures giving you the credit.
If you like any of these character in particular, or would like to support my work, please add them as a friend. I promise they will respond in character.
I write horror, science fiction, fantasy and short stories. I've been published twice in the Cantilevers Journal of the Arts, twice for a short story and once for a poem. This year's entry, Last Canvas earned me the 2007 Wesley Ryals Creative Writing Award for Fiction. p
You Should Be a Science Fiction Writer
Your ideas are very strange, and people often wonder what planet you're from.
And while you may have some problems being "normal," you'll have no problems writing sci-fi.
Whether it's epic films, important novels, or vivid comics...
Your own little universe could leave an important mark on the world! What Type of Writer Should You Be?
I am also a contributor to the Florida Southern College Women's Studies Text Book. I was the only student published in the text. I worked as a fact-checker on a friend's book, called Faith Journeys Through Fantasy Lands: Star Wars, Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings, by Russell Dalton. I really recommend it. I have bylines in The Lakeland Ledger, The Prescott Courier and The Polk Voice.
I believe you have to read great books in order to write great books (see my ever-increasing list to the right), but I am often surprised at how motivating a truly crappy book can be!

Fall 2006 I answered the call to become a reviewer on AnimeTV and I was accepted. You can catch the new episodes every Thursday at 8pm PST on AnimeTV . I'm known as TM Mercury of Lakeland, FL on the show, but if you know my real name check out the credits at the end of the show!
I'm happily married with two cats. I live in Florida and I am a member of the Polk County Writers Group , Florida Writers Association , the Florida Horror Writers Group, the Risembol Rangers, the Miniskirt Army, the Mike McFarland Fans, the Cripsin Freeman Fans and Funigirls.
I sing soprano in the Praise Team at Shepherd's Community United Methodist Church where I serve every weekend. I occasionally accompany the Praise Team by signing (ASL) the songs. Even more rarely, I play the Bodhran (a tradition Celtic drum). I teach classes at our Wednesday night program: Spiritual Warfare, United Methodist History and the Gospel According to the Simpson.
I organize my church's six annual blood drives. I've reached my first gallon and now I'm going for two. It's my belief that giving blood is good for the eternal soul.
I proudly drive a Pontiac Firebird. I'm a Disney Premimum Annual Passholder. I annually attend Star Wars Weekends at Disney's MGM Studios.
Please check out my picture page. My albums only have pictures of my myspace friends! If you're my friend and I don't have a picture of you - get your cameras ready and we can have some fun with Photoshop. The Chibi Album is of my best friend's baby - little Anne.
Cool Slideshows
I've done freelance photography for years and I was published in the Prescott Courier a few times. Besides taking photos I love to develop my own black & white and slide film. One of my hobbies is hand-coloring black and white photographs. I've won three first-prize awards in the Yavapai County Fair.
I work the United Methodist Church..
I am a video game freak. I am devoted to the Playstation line, but I also own a Gameboy Advanced SP & a Ninetendo DS. When I'm not writing or watching anime, you can bet you'll find me firmly planted on the couch with my wireless controller and the newest installment of Final Fantasy. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy XII, Dirge of Cerberus, Final Fantasy III and Fullmetal Alchemist Dual Sympathy. I'm really looking forward to Square-Enix's newest FF game: Chocobo Tales for the DS.
Myspace Chinese Astrology
I've been accused of being a wanderer because I've lived in four states, driven across country three times and traveled around the world. I've been to the Bahamas, Grand Caymens, Kenya, Mexico, Paris, England, Ireland (Repulic and Northern) and Scotland (all before I turned 24). I love to travel and could be convinced to do more without any arm twisting. My husband and I did our seminary missionary work at the East Belfast Mission in Northern Ireland. When I was fourteen, I did a summer exchange program in the Repulic of Ireland with the Irish Way.
