Lets face it, chances are I'm not interested in you. If you don't know me already and you're "checking me out" on myspace, you're not interested in me for anything other than sex. Why do we have to do this dance and play these games where you pretend to want to know my interests. I know what I like, my friends know what I like. The rest of you go to hell!!!
I'd like to meet someone who "gets" me. I'm a romantic. Yes some people call it obsessive, and clingy. But it's love baby! I just want to know where you are, and who the hell you were talking to. So what if this starts on the first date! Is there a time table for love?
Aaahhh music. The true opiate of the masses. It soothes the savage beast, can even intimate feelings of love and romance in the otherwise heartless, and fosters a sense of apathy and malaise in today's youth. What can I say, I love music, all forms of music. Yes I have a weakness for 80's alternative and punk, but I am equally happy thrashing around to metal as I am listening to broadway show-tunes. Sick isn't it?
Movies are an interesting diversion from life, a 2-3 hour time waster when you need nothing more than to shut your mind down for awhile. However I find little in them worth noting or retaining as a factor in evaluating my personality. I have yet to discover a "Favorite" movie. I enjoy movies but don't care which ones in particular I am viewing.
I totally have a crush on Mr. Belvidere. That man could do anything; HE ROCKS!!!
As all true romantics, I'm blind to most literature written post 1920s. My favorites are the Russian authors Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy, Aleksandr Sergeevich Pushkin, and of course Fyodor Dostoevsky.
In all seriousness, my hero is my husband Keith. I've never known anyone so brave, so loyal, faithful, loving, and hopeful. If I could just have 1/10th of the grace and spirit you exhibited in your battle with cancer, then I will be truly a blessed person. I miss you my love!
