The Felons

About Me

The only thing in life that does not change is that everything changes. Our dreams are dead and The Felons are no more, but a distant memory to the 60 or so people who have ever watched us. Now we can grow old and become the slaves that our fathers told us we would become. I hope however that you will remember us as the spritely and naive young chaps who thought that one day they could make it big.
Lots of Love
The Felons.
Reviews (because people's opinions seem to matter)

'with their huge melodies and a front man gifted with the presence of a young Jim Morrison, Darlington boys The Felons play ear splittingly loud rock n’ roll, birthed in a pool of beer soaked blues riffs.’ (NME, April 7th 2007)
‘the finest indie blues around’ (NARC, October 5th 2006).
'THE FELONS play bluesy rock and play it right in your face... Full on, tight and inspired... Catch The Felons, they're in a hurry.' (Evening Gazette, May 18th 2007)
'[The Felons] have got some good tunes, are excellent musicians and, despite sounding like they come from the Mississippi Delta, are actually from Darlington.' (www.indiecredential.com, 12th July 2006)
'In this day and age of skinny jeans and electro music, it's nice to see that there are still up and coming band who can capture the essence of the blues and bring it into the 21st century.' (Blues Matters, Nov 2008)
