About Me

Obviously the most distinguishing factor of my "space" is my photography.
I like to write alot. Trying to type thoughts out in a fresh way. I might start posting some of my writing soon.
I work full time in construction with my dad: Framing, drywall, etc.
I play bass in a hardcore band.
Music I enjoy lately: The Arcade Fire, The Postal Service, Simon and Garfunkel, Mewithoutyou, Johnny Cash, Weezer, The Beatles, Sigur Ros, Feist, The O.C Supertones... P.S this doesn't mean I fully support their beliefs. It just means I enjoy their work. brI'll read any book written by C.S Lewis.
I actually have kept my eyes open for poetry by Picasso. Did anyone else know he wrote poetry? I had a friend show me a piece of his writing and it was really good.
Jesus Christ is, in my mind, the most amazing person to ever have lived. I believe He was everything He said He was. If you don't know about His claims or what He did, then I suggest you read some of the new testament of the bible. The books Mathew, Mark, Luke and John are all witness accounts of His ministry.
I never was fully taught about the Rwanda Massacre of 1994. But I've learned a little more lately. Every Canadian should know at least what I learned about it (A bare minimum. I want to read more about it soon.) It was an eighth the size of the genocide of the Holocaust. An estimated one million people in Rwanda were murdered, for their social status, in a hundred days. Basically there were two groups, dating back to I believe the 15th century, the Tutsis and the Hutus. These two groups were determined by economic status. In 1895 the Germans gained control of Rwanda, but allowed the standing government to basically go on how it was. But then, after World War One, the German land of Rwanda was given to the Belgians, who used the Tutsi and Hutu difference to the advantage of themselves, and did a good job at creating an "Us Vs Them" mentality with both groups. So, I suppose alot went on between then and 1994 (Like I said, I need to do more reading.) But in April 1994 the murder of between eight hundred thousand and one million Tutsi and Hutu "moderates" began. In a hundred days it was finished. Just like that. All those people, dead. And believe me, if you read up on the personal accounts of what happened, "sickening" is an understatement. So, anyways, that was something I learned about and really felt needed to be talked about more. If anyone with more knowledge than me on the topic just read this and I have some of my "facts" wrong, please let me know. I'm just going by Wikipedia, and a speaker who gave me some information.
I found this nifty calibrator thing. It makes it so the pictures of mine you see on your computer look like the ones I see on my computer. Try 'er out.
Adjust the brightness control on your monitor to make frame 1 as dark as possible but not black (frame 0), while keeping frame 10 a bright white.
