I have a strong interest in the discipline of Yoga and Tai Chi. Disciplines which train you to focus on yourself and your inner strength as well as your balance within the universe. I also am an avid reader of fiction, although trying to stem into biography. I love writing and hope to publish my own piece of fictive work someday. I also enjoy being involved with my friends as I value communication as as a strong survival tool for the soul.I also have a strong interest in tarot and all things connected as I am drawn to the mystery of fate and destiny and things we cannot know! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE: JOSH HOMME - NEED I SAY MORE MY LOVELIES?
I'd like to meet interesting people who will make a distinct impression with me. People who have depth and are passionate about things that effect their lives. I often find that it is these kinds of people who make the biggest impact on your life and sustain themselves as your greatest friends. Id also like to meet people who have a great talent for humour as I love to laugh and smile! This is one of my favourite songs on 'Songs For The Deaf' and I love this music video in particular! Check out the flying sperm at the end!!! LOL!
I love anything with a clever script and gets me thinking their concepts for days and films that have been adapted from novels. I'm also a sucker for romantic films and any old school black and white film. But if I was to pin point my greatest films of all time it would be: Casablanca, American Beauty, Thelma and Louise, Breakfast At Tiffany's and Only You. Also developed an obsession with the Princess Bride!
I dont watch a lot of television, but when I do its usually Desperate Housewives, Friends, Shameless, Sex in the City, Ally McBeal, the odd snatchings of Eastenders and the Mighty Boosh! Lately my boyf and his mates have co-erced me into watching 'Heroes' and I have to say that its excellent!!! Everyone should watch it! Oooh I'm a cockney nut job I'm like connect four in dagger terms! Magic times Obsidion Black-bird McKnight! Timeless!
Well seeing as though Im an English Literature graduate this category is a tough one...there are not many books that I have that I haven't enjoyed. Its the same principle that I adopt for films...something clever and inspiring and insightful. But if I had to choose a few that I have found to be as such it would be: Grapes of Wrath, Pride and Prejudice,Lord of the Rings, Lady Oracle and Fantastic Mr Fox!
I really admire my parents. They have been through so much change and adversity and they never cease to amaze in the way they always rise from seemingly hopeless scenarios. I have learned not to be afraid of a change and of a challenge. I also admire strong women figures like my friend Steph. The number of times she's given me metaphorical and literal sort-yourself-out slaps is enumerable. I have her to thank for my career direction and admire her own tenacity and determination in the pursuit of her own dreams and goals.
